About Us
Established in March 2003 by Dr. Jerome Jones and Dr. Randolph Carrington, the Caribbean Centre for Orthopaedic Surgery (CCOS) is dedicated to providing comprehensive and accessible Orthopaedic care to the citizens of Barbados and the Caribbean. Following Dr. Jones’ retirement in 2016, Dr. Carrington continues to lead the practice as the sole Orthopaedic Surgeon, bringing over 20 years of specialization and experience to our patients.

Meet Dr. Randolph Carrington
Dr. Carrington holds a BSc (Hons) and MBBS from the University of the West Indies and is an intercollegiate Trauma and Orthopaedics fellow of the Royal colleges of England, Glasgow and Ireland.
Professional Journey:
- Joined the staff of Queen Elizabeth Hospital as a Senior Registrar in Orthopaedics in 2000.
- Promoted to Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Bayview Hospital in March 2003.
- Attended a clinical attachment in complex spine surgery at the hospital for special surgery/Cornell University medical college, New York.
- Associate lecturer in Orthopaedics at the University of the West Indies.
- Member of the Caribbean Association of Orthopaedic surgeons.
- Former general secretary of the Barbados Association of Medical Practitioners.
- Current member of the Barbados Medical Council.
- Foundation member and Vice President of the Foundation of Orthopaedics and Complex Spine Surgery-Barbados chapter.
Dr. Carrington performs most of his private surgeries at the Premiere Surgical Centre ensuring top-tier care in a state-of-the-art facility.
